In addition to his bankruptcy practice, Mr. Schwartz has been general counsel for several large insurance corporations including Sierra Life Insurance Company and California-Western States Life Insurance Company. He has handled matters relating to securities, pension plans, policy coverage, contract interpretation, and general corporate matters. Mr. Schwartz has also served as a pro tem settlement judge in Sacramento County.
